Step back in time and discover how paper was made the old-fashioned way! Our Old-Fashioned Paper Making Experience is a fun, hands-on activity that lets guests create their very own piece of handmade paper from start to finish.
Perfect for school events, festivals, historical events, community celebrations, corporate family days, and educational programs, this interactive activity combines creativity, learning, and plenty of hands-on fun. Each participant gets involved in the paper-making process and creates a unique piece of paper to take home. We can brand a sign with your company or organization logo on the station.
How It Works
Our paper-making experience takes guests through four fun steps:
- Mix the Pulp – Add paper pulp to the container and shake it up to create the paper mixture.
- Form the Paper – Pour the pulp into a screened paper-making frame and gently move it back and forth to evenly form the sheet.
- Decorate It – Personalize the handmade paper with glitter and other fun decorative materials.
- Press & Dry – The finished creation is pressed to remove excess water and then left to air dry.
The result is a one-of-a-kind piece of handmade paper created by the guest!
Our Old-Fashioned Paper Making Experience is entertaining for both children and adults and makes a great addition to events looking for something different from the typical carnival attraction. It is especially popular for events featuring pioneer, historical, educational, farm, western, or old-fashioned themes.

$300 for each additional hour

Availability and Fees:
Your unique situation or special request may cause a price adjustment. Last minute or rush bookings are subject to a service charge.
A Holiday Fee may be added for July 4th weekend, Memorial Day, Labor Day, New Year’s Eve, Thanksgiving, Easter or other high-demand dates. Ask your AE planner for details.
