FREE Delivery/Retrieval for most equipment orders over $250 to a Columbus, OH, RESIDENTIAL address.

Delivery/Retrieval rates vary, depending on the specific items, distance and timing of deliveries.
Please contact an AFE representative for your event's estimated costs; in the meantime, use the info below as your general guide.

Our Will Call Service is ideal for time sensitive events and parties. Save on distance and delivery fees, as well as time sensitive charges,

by picking up and returning your rental item(s) to our warehouse. Click Here for more info and items available for Will Call service.

PLEASE make Delivery arrangements for your rentals as far in advance as possible.
AFE is not always able to accommodate last minute requests. 

Reservations fewer than 5 days before event may generate last-minute scheduling fees starting at $25+ increasing upto 35% of the order.

STANDARD DELIVERY/FREE DELIVERY
FREE Delivery/Retrieval for most equipment orders* over $250 to a Columbus, Ohio, RESIDENTIAL address.
Non-Residential Delivery: fees start at $49. 
Delivery of Orders Under $225: fee starts at $99.

Distance fee will apply after 20 miles, added to any other fees. 

 

Important Info For STANDARD Delivery Option

  • AFE has the discretion to arrange delivery 1-2 days/evenings before your event, with no additional rental cost to you.

  • AFE will assign a 4-6 hour delivery window, between 7 am and up to 30 minutes before your event's scheduled start time.

  • Under both Free and Standard Delivery options, AFE will not charge you if it does NOT retrieve equipment immediately after your event, because of scheduled client commitments, weather conditions, limited access or other issues beyond AFE's control.  It may take AFE up to 2+ days after your event to retrieve

  • Live entertainment, supplies, tables, chairs, tents and certain other items do not count toward the minimum

order requirements for Free Delivery/Retrieval.

 

Distance Fees may be added for deliveries/retrievals 20 miles or more from our warehouse.

Mileage calculations are made by our reservation system. Contact your AE Sales Planner for details.

Examples of typical distance fees include $25-$50 for Johnstown, Lancaster, Pataskala;
$50-$100 for Buckeye Lake, Circleville, Delaware, London, Marysville, Newark, Plain City, Springfield, Sunbury;
$100-$250 for Dayton, Mansfield, Marion, Zanesville; $150-$400 for Akron area, Cincinnati area;

$400-$800 for Cleveland area, Toledo area.

BULKY ITEMS: 

SAME DAY PRIORITY DELIVERY OR RETRIEVAL 
AFE will prioritize your delivery ON your event date: fee starts at $99.
AFE will prioritize your retrieval ON your event date: fee starts at $99.
AFE will try to assign a 2-4 hour window for delivery or retrieval.
Distance fee will apply after 20 miles, added to any other fees.
Where unforeseen issues prevent Same Day service, AFE will return this fee.


LATE NIGHT/EARLY MORNING DELIVERY/RETRIEVAL
An order that is required to be delivered or retrieved after 8 pm:

fee between: $99. - $500.+
An order that is required to be delivered, set up and ready by 9:30 am:
fee between: $99. - $500.+
Added to
any other fees.
Distance fee will apply after 20 miles, added to any other fees.

TIME SENSITIVE DELIVERY/RETRIEVAL

Specialty Delivery: fees start at $149.

Specialty Retrieval: fees start at $149.

Distance fee will apply after 20 miles, added to any other fees.

AFE will assign a 1-2 hour window for a Specialty Delivery and/or a Specialty Retrieval.

PARKS OR PUBLIC SPACES

Park/Public Space Delivery/Retrieval: fee starts at $200, added to any other fees.
Minimum Equipment Order: $500.  (Minimum waived for Live Entertainment.)
AFE will assign a 2-5 hour window for a Park/Public Space Delivery/Retrieval. 

MISC. OPTIONS

Delivery to Convention Center or beyond lobby of a building/hotel: fee starts at $99.
Use of Elevator: fee starts at $45.

Use of Stairs: fee starts at $45.

Delivery to or through Odd Spaces: fee starts at $45.
Inside Operation of inflatables/large items: fee starts at $45.  (No fee for events November to March.)

Larger events requiring additional staff for set up and tear down: fee starts at $99.
Onsite Management for larger or detail-oriented celebrations: 10% to 30% fee.
Delivery on or around a holiday may have a surcharge delviery fee and/or rental fee.

Added to any other fees.

BULKY OR LARGE ITEM FEE
These Items are so awesome they take up more room in our trucks or need extra special handling!

Tent Delivery: fee starts at $50.

Chairs & Tables Delivery: fee starts at $49.​

Royal Chairs Delivery: fee starts at $49.

Arcade Games Delivery: fee starts at $99.

Electronic Basketball/Football Games Delivery: fee starts at $49.

Glow Decor Delivery: fee starts at $99.  (Free residential delivery on orders of $500 or more.)
Added to

AFE must have access to the event location with enough time to set up equipment completely and safely.
If not, AFE will not be held responsible for an event’s late start.
